The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK), established by the Government of Kerala, commenced its activities in 1997. It is dedicated to providing world-class education, research, training and consultancy in management and related areas.

Facilities

Library & Information Center (LIC)

The Library and information center (LIC) at IIM K blends digital, audio, video and print media with cutting-edge technology. The LIC aims at providing state-of-the-art information resources and value-added information services in all areas of management and related disciplines. The LIC at the Institute has by now become an outstanding knowledge-centre catering to the faculty, students and research scholars. It houses several thousands of books in print form, hundreds of print journals, over 30000 e-books and more than 5000 electronic journals from India and abroad, in addition to as many as 1000 CD-ROM publications on contemporary issues. The audio/visual unit in the LIC hosts over 226 educational videos covering a wide range of disciplines in management. The Library Web Portal is a unique feature of Library & Information centre at IIMK. The Portal is an integrated network of information sources. Besides serving as a web- based interface to the in-house resources, the portal also provides links to strategic sources of information.

IIMK is an active member in the IIM's Library Consortium as well as the MHRD's INDEST Consortium. A state of art digital library in management, sponsored by the Government of India, is successfully commissioned and is operational. One of the recent innovations of the center for Development of Digital Libraries (CDDL) is the video digital library which could be accessed from the whole campus including faculty rooms and students hostels.

Computer Centre

IT resources at IIMK include advanced computers and peripherals devices, local area network, a global information network and the software and applications that make it possible to utilize these resources.

Post-Graduate Programme in Management

The two-year Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) is a full - time residential programme for graduates intending to pursue a career in management. It is designed on the premise that a balance of theory and practice is needed for management skill formation.

Eligibility
Eligibility is defined by a three-year Bachelor degree or equivalent recognized as such by the Association of Indian universities / AICTE as eligible for post-graduate study. The degree may be in any discipline.

Candidates appearing for final year of Bachelor degree examination are also eligible to apply.

Selection
Selection to the Post-Graduate Programme is based on criteria, which include the performance in CAT, academic record, work experience and performance in GD and interviews.
